How about that TAKS test?

Great work on the TAKS! More than 30% of students in our six classes earned “commended.” Less than 3% failed to pass the standard.

Less stellar performance on the Assessment of Course Progress (ACP).   Some students who were on the bubble may be disappointed in the final grade.

Have a great summer. Watch the confirmation hearings for Elena Kagan to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. Pay careful attention to what the government can and cannot do about oil spills. Watch the European Union’s work to keep Greece solvent. Those issues will give you greater understanding and depth for your economics and government courses next year.
